Our Story
Feis Africa Safari is a locally owned safari company built by Tanzanians who grew up beside these parks. We hand-craft private journeys, one traveller at a time.
We started Feis Africa Safari for a simple reason: the safaris we saw being sold looked nothing like the Tanzania we knew. We grew up near the Serengeti, learning the seasons, the crossings and the quiet hours when the plains belong to whoever is patient enough to wait.
So we built the company we would want to travel with — Tanzanian owned, Tanzanian guided, and entirely tailor-made.
We believe the best safari is a personal one. Every itinerary is drawn by hand around your dates, pace, budget and the animals you most want to see. Some travellers want three unhurried days in one park; others want the full northern circuit and a week of Zanzibar sand afterwards.
Nothing we sell is a fixed departure. You travel in your own vehicle with your own guide, and the plan changes whenever the wildlife gives us a better idea.
What guides us
Every route, camp and river crossing is chosen by Tanzanians who travel these parks all year, not from a brochure.
One planner stays with you from first message to airport farewell, so nothing is repeated or lost.
We keep respectful distance, never crowd a sighting and choose guides who read animals rather than chase them.
We hire locally, buy locally and support the villages and schools around the parks we travel through.
You see exactly what your per-person price covers — park fees, vehicle, guide, meals and stays. No surprises.
WhatsApp us at any hour, before or during your trip. Someone from the team always answers.
“Our mission is to connect people with the wild heart of Tanzania in a way that is authentic, responsible and unforgettable.”
Not a reseller abroad. Our office is in Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, and our vehicles and guides are our own.
Comfort, mid-range or luxury — the same itinerary, priced honestly at the level of stay you choose.
Your vehicle is yours. No stranger group tours, no fixed departures, no rushing another traveller's checklist.
Licensed, wildlife-trained and fluent in English, with years of reading the plains behind the wheel.
Northern circuit, southern circuit, Kilimanjaro and the Zanzibar archipelago, planned as one seamless trip.
Tell us your dates and budget and we send a full costed itinerary. You decide in your own time.

Travel that gives back
A share of every booking goes to anti-poaching and park conservation partners working where we travel.
We buy produce, crafts and services from villages near the parks and pay guides above the local standard.
Refillable water on board, no single-use plastic in our vehicles, and camps chosen for their environmental record.
We brief every traveller on respectful wildlife viewing and support school programmes in guiding communities.
Send us your dates and what you dream of seeing. We reply with a costed, tailor-made itinerary — free, and with no pressure to book.
